About the role
We’re looking for an innovative individual to lead growth (sales and marketing) teams at Tix. In this role, you will spearhead Tix’s efforts to identify opportunities for growth through new business opportunities, sales and marketing partnerships, and everything in between.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that build awareness of Tix and lead to the acquisition of new business opportunities that will boost company revenue.
- Develop and oversee strategies for all marketing teams, including digital, advertising, content and offline.
- Identify and lead marketing activations and brand partnerships that boost brand awareness and drive sales in key markets and target audiences.
- Develop and oversee deployment of marketing budget.
- Set goals for all marketing activities and monitor performance (ROI and KPIs).
- Plan and execute all digital marketing (email, social, content, SEO, display/search ads) and advertising strategies.
- Craft go-to-market strategies for new markets (South Africa and Kenya) and research existing markets (Ghana & Nigeria).
- Close deals by directly engaging with current and prospective enterprise users.
- Manage, mentor and coach direct reports to improve team performance.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience as growth manager, sales and marketing lead, content marketing, video marketing or digital marketing.
- Excellent written, presentation and spoken communication skills.
