About the Role
In the next 5 years, we want Tix to be Africa’s most loved ticketing platform, and that’s where YOU come in. This is a hands-on role for a full-stack marketer who is an expert at both brand storytelling and data-driven content strategy.
You will be responsible for developing and executing a unified marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, generates demand, and builds a loyal user community.
You will lead a small, talented team and will be responsible for everything from high-level campaign strategy to the flawless execution of our day-to-day content.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own the comprehensive marketing strategy for Tix, encompassing both brand marketing and content marketing
- Be hands-on with content creation: write compelling blog posts, craft engaging email campaigns, develop social media copy, and set the standard for quality across all channels
- Collaborate with and coordinate the marketing team, which includes content creators and designers
- Plan and execute high-impact brand marketing campaigns, including product launches, creator programs, partnerships, and both digital and physical activations
- Establish and own all key marketing KPIs and dashboards, reporting on campaign performance, user acquisition, and brand awareness metrics
- Serve as the ultimate guardian of the Tix brand, ensuring a consistent, culturally relevant, and high-quality voice and visual identity across all channels
- Manage the marketing budget and make strategic decisions on where to invest for the highest return
- Build a strong, operationally excellent marketing function by implementing the processes and tools needed to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
